Jodie Thompson has been appointed as District Emergency Coordinator (DEC) for District 1. She succeeds Tim Crane, who has stepped back in order to devote time to other pursuits. Tim continues in his role as assistant state coordinator for training, and with his work in helping to train and build the AUXCOMM team in Genessee County.
Jodie K8NZB was first licensed in 2019, and upgraded to General Class in 2020. She took the AUXCOMM course in December 2022, and recently completed her position task book. Jodie also received Professional Emergency Manager (PEM) certification in July 2023.
