The Amateur Radio Public Service Corps (ARPSC) brings together the following amateurs:

  • Amateur Radio Emergency Services (ARES)
  • National Traffic System (NTS)
  • Volunteers who are credentialed to operate in Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (RACES)
  • Volunteers trained as weather spotters in the National Weather Service SKYWARN program

  • MI ARPSC Net Returns to 80 Meters

    40 meters has not been cooperating, and 60 meters has been marginal in the afternoon. Effective August 14, the net will return to its 80 meters home at 3.932 MHz, +/- QRM. The alternate frequency will be 60 meters channel 2, with 7.232 MHz as a tertiary frequency.

  • Spring 2022 Exercise AAR Available

    The Spring 2022 Statewide Communication Exercise occurred 30 April to 2 May and focused exclusively on the use of Winlink. There was wide participation from across the state.
